New Works
Over the years I have returned to painting water lilies many times. They make wonderful subjects - they float on a reflective surface and change constantly with the light. Recently we visited St. Marks Wildlife Refuge in Florida's Panhandle for a photography and sketching day and I was fortunate enough to get some wonderful waterlily photos.
These paintings make me think of that day of sunshine, Bass popping, frogs croaking and an alligator sunning himself on the shore while I was sketching. I'm not done yet, watch this collection grow!
